Albert Whitehorn died from wounds on 11th May, 1915, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 2nd Leicestershire battalion was part of Garhwal Brigade, of the Meerut Division of the Indian Corps, that had been in the line around Neuve Chapelle in the Spring of 1915. |
